S3 Beta Patch #1 - 2025-01-05 by Karen 1/5/2025
General
- Shield Specialization: 1 handed base damage now increases by 0.5% per composite shield skill while wielding a shield in the offhand.
- Charge realm ability duration decreased from 15 seconds to 12 seconds.
- Paralyze 23 spec Shield rear style and Mangle 35 spec Shield side style to hit bonuses increased from none to medium (10%).
- Players can now maintain up to 8 chants simultaneously, up from 2.
- Bugfix: dots can now crit between 10 and 100% against players, previously 10 and 50%.
- Veil Recovery now also reduces the duration of stat debuff by the same percentage.
Guilds
- The guild leader position is now unique (per account). In existing guilds, the oldest active current guild leader will have the position by default.
- When a new guild leader is promoted, all previous ones are demoted.
- Guild leaders not active on any leader character will be demoted after 30 days.
- Added ‘/gc selfinvite’ and ‘/gc selfpromote’ commands to invite/promote guild characters on your own account (requires regular permissions)
Cabalist
- Cabalist 46 Spirit spec Banish Soul 8s Body/Spirit/Energy debuff lowered to 44 spec.
- Cabalist 44 Spirit spec Exploit Flaw pet-damage-add lowered to 43 spec.
Cleric, Druid, Shaman
- Yellow AoE SC and DQ are now able to reach the same value as buff potions.
- AoE yellow D/Q increased value from 31 to 45, AoE red D/Q increased from 35 to 55.
- AoE yellow S/C increased value from 28 to 45, AoE red S/C increased from 35 to 55.
- AoE yellow Acu increased value from 21 to 45, AoE red Acu increased from 26 to 55.
Heretic, Reaver
- Leviathan style DD proc increased from 100 value to 125.
Mercenary, Blademaster
- Light Tank Slam 42 spec Shield anytime style stun reduced from 9 seconds to 5. Resulting immunity is now 25 seconds, down from 45.
Thane, Valkyrie
- Ragnarok style DD proc increased from 100 value to 125.
Occultist

This class will not replace Necromancer. You can become an Occultist by talking to the trainer as a fresh Necromancer character (level 1, RR 1l1).
Occultists will have the most bugs and likely require the most balancing attention out of these classes. Please report any bugs you find during Beta in the Occultist channel on Discord.
A few Eden specifics are:
- Shapechanges have a cooldown.
- Shapechange stats are rebalanced.
- The army FnF summon spell has been removed.
This is an initial version and will get many balance passes until Season 3 release.
Paladin
- Spec points increased from 2.2 to 2.3
- Pulse power cost for Endurance and Magic Resists chants have been removed.
Vampiir

This is not an exact copy of a version that has been at live at any point in time, for example:
- Claw delves are reduced.
- No access to self cure root.
This is an initial version and will get many balance passes until Season 3 release.
Warlock

- Chambers have an 8 second global cooldown between uses.
- Chambered spells have 25% reduced damage.
This is an initial version and will get many balance passes until Season 3 release.
Misc
- Players will now receive experience from player kills even when /xp off is turned on.
- Darkness Falls will now be available to all realms at all times.
